Fits most major checked-baggage requirements
Is it suitable for air travel?
Yes, it's designed as a checked bag and built to handle the demands of frequent flights and baggage handling.
Why does it use 2 wheels instead of 4?
Dual-supported wheels reduce strain by up to 4×, improving durability over time.
Can it handle heavy or overpacked loads?
Absolutely. The reinforced construction is designed to carry heavy gear without losing shape.
Will it roll smoothly on rough ground?
Larger wheels and added clearance make it easy to move over uneven surfaces.
Their schedule became our specification.
When the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team came to us, they didn't need just another bag. They needed one that could keep up. Twenty-four races. Five continents. More than fifty flights a season.
Built for All in Performance
24 races. 5 continents. Equipment loaded, unloaded, stacked and thrown, season after season. The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team needed luggage built to their exact specifications. And nothing quite worked. So they came to Mous with a simple brief: survive everything. The team edition was built exactly to that standard. A front zip for grab-and-go access. Clamshell opening for full access under pressure. 105 litres of capacity that doesn't ask you to compromise. The same dual-supported wheel axle. The same ballistic nylon shell. The same tested-to-destruction construction. Finished in the team's colours.
105 Litres. Used Properly.
105 litres of fully usable space — the kind you'd normally only get from oversized check-in luggage nobody wants to carry. The Beast isn't bulky. Its compact shape means the 105 litre structure lifts easily, carries easily and stows wherever you need it. Open it flat like a suitcase for full access to both sides. Or use the front duffel zip for speed. The internal divider rolls away when you don't need it and pins flat when you do. Packing cubes designed to fit are available separately.
Most Luggage Breaks. Frames Crack. Shells Split.
Most soft-shell bags at this size compromise somewhere. The Beast doesn't. Two grades of ballistic nylon on the exterior.
An internal framework of ABS honeycomb reinforcement, fibreglass bar, and steel wire holding the shape, resisting compression, distributing impact. Every seam stiched through every layer. Five minutes of stitching per unit. Then tested the way airlines treat bags: fully loading, repeatedly, without mercy.
The outer shell runs 1680D ballistic nylon, the same densely woven fabric used in military and tactical equipment. Extreme abrasion resistance. Extreme tear strength. The front panel uses to 840D: a lighter, more compliant weave that adds flexibility and water resistance where the bag flexes most.
Heavy duty YKK zips throughout, the same specification used in technical outerwear. Built-in TSA-recognised combination lock. Everything that closes, locks or fastens on The Beast was chosen because it works under pressure.
Most soft-shell bags rely on fabric and thin plastic sheet for protection. The Beast uses a multi-material internal framework. The polyethylene back panel give it its spine. ABS honeycomb reinforcement, fibreglass bar, and steel wire work together to hold the bag's shape, resist compression, and distribute impact. The ballistic nylon it's durable skin. A hybrid construction in a form most factories told us was impossible at 105 litres. We built it anyway.
MOST LUGGAGE FAILS AT THE WHEELS.
Four-wheel spinners hang off one end of an axle, like a cantilever, with all your weight concentrated at one end and all your support at the other. Under load, that bending force builds until the support gives way.
We went the other route. Two oversized TPU wheels, each with an axle supported on two sides. The load distributes. The stress disperses. The wheels keep moving.
Most suitcase handles wobble. The further they extend, the worse it gets.
The Beast runs a dual-rail aluminium handle with tighter tolerances and greater overlap than category standard. Less gaps. Less wobble. Near-zero play at full extension. It also extends beyond standard height, so it clears a stacked backpack and tall users don't have to stoop. Tested to 5,000 extension cycles (no weight) and 1,000 shock cycles (28kg).
Limited lifetime warranty
Most suitcases end up in landfill when a wheel or handle breaks. Ours doesn't. All hardware can be replaced at home with a simple screwdriver and Allen key. For most other things, our limited lifetime warranty* covers repair or replacement when it counts for 25 years.

1680D ballistic nylon – Main shell fabric
The exterior body panels use 1680D ballistic nylon, giving hard-wearing abrasion resistance where the duffel meets conveyors and ground.
840D ballistic nylon – Front panel fabric
A lighter ballistic weave, already proven in Mous backpacks, brings flexibility and scuff resistance to the primary touch zone.
210D nylon – Internal lining
The internal lining is made from 210-denier nylon: lightweight yet strong, with a smooth finish for easier packing and cleaning
ABS honeycomb – Structural panels
Internal ABS honeycomb sheets add skeleton-style rigidity to the base and core walls while keeping weight low.
TPU – Wheels
Solid thermoplastic polyurethane wheels provide clearance, smooth rolling and strong impact resistance.
Aluminium – Telescopic handle
The bespoke pull handle is aluminium for stiffness-to-weight efficiency and long-term alignment.
ABS – Housing components
Smaller exterior parts such as handle casings and brackets use ABS – a performance engineering plastic chosen for its toughness and dimensional stability.
Steel – Logo badge
The front logo badge is steel with a nickel-plated coating, chosen for corrosion resistance, durability and a clean metallic finish.
Zinc – Backing plates
Zinc backing plates sit behind the badge, providing stable support and long-term resistance to wear.
Polyurethane – Coating layers
PU coatings across fabrics improve water resistance and seam durability.
Steel – Axle and screws
The axle system and fastening hardware are steel to distribute heavy-load forces and support future repair. A coating is applied to increase corrosion resistance, protecting critical components from moisture, road salts and long-term exposure during checked travel.
25-year coverage under our Limited Lifetime Warranty
Is it suitable for air travel?
Yes, it's designed for all types of travel, including flights. Its size makes it suitable for checked baggage in the hold – and it’s built to handle heavy packing and the rigours of baggage handling.
Why does it use 2 wheels instead of 4?
Unlike spinner suitcases, each wheel is supported on both sides. This spreads the load evenly, reducing strain on the axle and key components by up to 4× – helping improve durability and long-term reliability.
Is it harder to manoeuvre than a 4-wheel suitcase?
Not at all. Its larger wheels and stable design make it easy to pull, especially over uneven ground. It’s designed for smoother movement across pavements, curbs, and rougher surfaces where spinner wheels often struggle.
Can it handle heavy or overpacked loads?
Yes. Built with 1680D ballistic nylon and ABS honeycomb reinforced panels, it’s designed to carry heavy gear while maintaining structure and durability over time.
How much can it hold?
With a 105L capacity, it’s built for extended trips, bulky items or situations where you need to pack more without compromise.
Is it lightweight for its size?
At around 6kg, it's an impressively durable and lightweight piece of luggage, given its 105L capacity. Strong enough for demanding use without becoming difficult to handle.
How does the packing system work?
It opens flat in a clamshell design so you can see and pack both sides at once. A second front opening gives quick, duffel-style access while the interior can be split or used as one large space depending on your load.
